THE CHALLENGE
WOOFVENTURE creates handmade dog collars, leads and accessories from biothane and paracord, made to measure for every dog. And that is exactly where the challenge was: the price changes with every centimeter the customer provides. A standard Shopify setup cannot handle this. We were asked to develop a custom price calculator that automatically calculates the correct price, making ordering a made to measure product just as easy as buying a standard one.
OUR APPROACH
Custom Price Calculator
We developed a custom price calculator that is fully integrated into the product pages. The customer simply enters the neck size of their dog and the calculator instantly shows the correct price for the made to measure product. Behind the scenes, the tool calculates the price per centimeter, so WOOFVENTURE never has to create separate variants for every possible length.
